UKAS ACCREDITATION CERTIFICATES

Certsure is assessed by UKAS against internationally recognised standards on a regular basis to ensure we exceed quality in our services.

Accreditation provides assurance of impartiality, objectivity and transparency. It also reduces the risk to you and your customers and underpins the quality of results by ensuring their traceability, comparability, validity and commutability.

One of the fundamental principles of third-party certification is that it is impartial and free from bias. In order to provide this confidence, it is essential that certification decisions are based solely on objective evidence of conformity and are not influenced by other interests.

Certsure ensures that the certification provided is impartial by managing any potential con-flicts of interest so that its impartiality is not compromised.

Certsure holds accreditation for:

ISO/IEC 17065:2022

Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services.

ISO/IEC 17024:2022

VERIFYING COMPETENCE – PROTECTING CONSUMERS

Certsure LLP operates the UK’s largest voluntary register of electrical businesses. Assessing over 38,000 businesses against prescribed criteria, Certsure verifies that the installation work undertaken by these businesses meets the technical standards required for electrical safety including renewable installations. Designed to verify the ongoing competency of the organisation regular assessments are a condition of being certified and are there to ensure technical and safety standards are continuously upheld.

DRIVING INDUSTRY STANDARDS

Members of our highly respected team sit on various industry panels helping to develop British Standards. We also sit on Government bodies to help shape future policies to ensure that those working in the building services sector are competent and are ready to support the country’s net zero aspirations.

Forming part of the JPEL 64 committee, a cross-industry group formed to help govern the contents of BS 7671:2018, Certsure helped develop this Amendment, ensuring that the up-date truly drove the industry forward in terms of electrical safety.

March 2022 saw the IET publish the second Amendment of BS 7671:2018 (the wiring regula-tions), the first significant update to the current regulations since their introduction in 2018.
